Professional Therapy Associates welcomes Flathead Valley residents to attend the grand opening celebration for its newest Montana physical therapy clinic location next to Family Health Care in Columbia Falls. The open house will take place February 9, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Attendees can take advantage of free physical therapy screenings and will also enjoy live music, food tastings from area eateries and door-prize giveaways featuring certificates from Flathead Valley restaurants and fitness centers.

Family Health Care offers a wide range of healthcare services. Family Health Care features internal medicine, family practice and urgent care providers. The facility is located at 1850 9th Street West in Columbia Falls.

We are excited to welcome Flathead Valley residents to meet our staff and the Family Health Center team at our new Columbia Falls location, said Blaine Stimac, owner and CEO of Professional Therapy Associates. Our new physical therapy office offers a comfortable and professional atmosphere, as well as a convenient location with plenty of parking. It also provides the same expert care and state-of-the-art equipment our patients will find at all of our clinics. Our open house on February 9 will feature refreshments, music from a local guitarist and some great giveaways. We also encourage guests to take advantage of our free physical therapy screenings and learn how physical therapy may be able to help improve their overall health and wellbeing.

The free physical therapy screenings will be conducted by one of Professional Therapy Associates highly trained physical therapists. Visitors can discuss any concerns or symptoms such as pain or lack of mobility with the physical therapist, who will evaluate body movement, balance and range of motion. Depending on the assessment, the physical therapist may recommend a few simple exercises to do at home, or can schedule a full evaluation if the individual would benefit from physical therapy treatment. Where medical treatment may be necessary, the therapist will refer the individual to the Family Health Care staff or their own primary care physician.
